The Perch is a rethinking of the Boeing 787 main boarding area. It is a destination point that transform throughout the different phases of the flight thanks to digital design.
The Perch was designed as a way to introducing a central digital experience into modern cabin design. Our goal was to use the latest screen technology to enhanced the way that passengers interact with the cabin beyond their seat.
Blending digital and physical design we created a warm and welcoming lobby that transform throughout the flight.
The Perch create a oasis and a passenger destination for rest and well-being at the center of the aircraft.
The Perch is designed to be a multi-functional monument, it adapts and changes to the different phases of a long-haul flight through digital design, lighting and sound design.
The Perch features two transparent screens, creating a window to the Boeing 787 cabin. The perch can be isolated from the cabin by removing the screen transparency thanks to a stunning shade mechanism.
Throughout The Perch space thoughtful touches like the library, self-service bar, and media console with sound create a diverse experience.
